2025 Infiniti QX60 Now with a Powerful 268 HP VC-Turbo Engine!

The three-row QX60, which is Infiniti’s best-selling model, doesn’t change much from 2024 to 2025. However, the SUV gets a new Black Edition Package and significant changes inside for the new year.

  • There is no longer a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Instead, there is an Infiniti-only variable-compression-ratio four-cylinder engine.
  • The 268 horsepower of the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine is 27 less than the V-6 in the 2024 model, but the 286 pounds-feet of torque is 16 more.
  • The engine is called VC-Turbo by Infiniti and is paired with a nine-speed automatic gear.
  • All-wheel drive is offered for an extra $2,000 and comes standard on the top-of-the-line Autograph trim. The first three trim levels come with front-wheel drive.

The new engine slightly improves fuel economy compared to the 2024 QX60. Front-drive SUVs get 22/28/24 mpg in the city, on the highway, and combined, and all-wheel-drive models get 22/27/24 (official 2025 numbers are not yet released). The 2024 QX60 got 21/26/23 mpg with front-wheel drive and 20/25/22 mpg with all-wheel drive. The four-cylinder QX60 can still pull 6,000 pounds, like the V-6 QX60.

There is now a new Black Edition Package for the Luxe trim level. It can be added to black, white, or gray QX60s. The 20-inch wheels, roof rails, grille surround, and external badges are all finished in black. The grille has a lit Infiniti logo, and the interior is also black. The QX60 Luxe also comes with a 17-speaker Bose sound system that is now standard. All trim levels now come with keyless entry and a fob that opens the doors automatically as the driver approaches the car and locks them when they walk away.

Tools for safety and trim levels

There are a lot of safety features that come standard on the 2025 QX60. These include blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, back parking sensors with automatic braking, and windshield wipers that can sense rain.

There is a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, LED headlights and taillights, and keyless entry and starting in the base Pure trim level. The 18-inch wheels are finished in black. The first and second rows of seats are made of leather, and the third row is made of synthetic leather.

The front seats are power-adjustable and heated, and the steering wheel is heated. The car also has tri-zone climate control with vents in the second and third rows, wireless phone charging, and black interior trim. There is a 12.3-inch tablet with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, voice recognition, and nine speakers for entertainment.

There are more safety features in the Luxe than in the other models. It has adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, lane departure prevention, blind spot intervention, traffic sign recognition, a driver focus monitor, a 360-degree parking camera, and front parking sensors.
